This class continues where Song Writing I left off, with more detail about basics of musical keys, tempos, varying patterns of verses and repeating choruses. Each attendee is encouraged to identify a favorite song that we will play and analyze in class, focusing on how the song accomplishes its goal. The benefits of writing and then re-writing will be covered. For those who bring in an original song idea and desired feel, a group review with positive suggestions will be available.
