The St. Clare Secular Franciscans will be hosting Carlene Thissen, the author of Immokalee’s Fields of Hope, a story of Mexican, Haitian, and Guatemalan immigrants. Thissen shares the personal stories that immigrants told her, framed with the political and social histories of their countries. All are welcome at this informative presentation/book signing.
